Let’s keep it simple. In this blog, I want to share with you my journey of transforming social media likes into actual leads and, ultimately, closed loans.

Feel, Felt, Found: Turning Likes into Leads

Fact: I feel like many of us are pretty good at driving business through social media. However, over the years, I’ve felt we often struggle to convert those likes into real leads. What I’ve found is that there are tools one can use to significantly kickstart this transformation, effectively turning social media engagement into tangible business opportunities.

The Six L’s of Social Media

I’ve developed a social media philosophy centered around six L’s:

  1. Loser: Accepting that initial efforts may not gain traction.
  2. Learning: Educating the audience with valuable content.
  3. Laughter: Making content engaging and entertaining.
  4. Likes: Focusing on gaining engagement through valuable posts.
  5. Leads: Converting engagement into contact information.
  6. Loans: Turning leads into closed deals.

I can’t stress enough the importance of nurturing leads over time, not just focusing on immediate transactions. This approach has helped me build a pipeline of clients who will do business with me throughout my career, rather than just in the short term.
